On Wednesday, the Senate also passed
SB 350, sponsored by Senator Erin Grall;
a public records exemption measure addressing the release of certain sensitive
information. The bill serves as the Senate companion to HB 1113, sponsored by
Representative Kaylee Tuck. The legislation ensures that identifying information
about o昀케cers and their family members is
not released to the public for 72 hours and
for an additional 60 days following certain
incidents.

duty in 2021, and since then Representative Baker and Senator Leek have worked
alongside the Florida PBA to ensure individuals who commit crimes against law enforcement are held fully accountable.
These bills, having successfully passed
both the House and the Senate, now await
昀椀nal approval from Governor Ron DeSantis. Once signed by the Governor, they will
o昀케cially become law. The Florida PBA
